About me
Portrait.jpg

In August of 2012, I was enrolled  as a student at East Stroudsburg University studying for my bachelors in Art and Design, with a minor in graphic design.

While going to ESU I received many awards for my works and academics, one being the Fitzgerald art scholarship for my 3D
sculpture, created for 3D design class. In December of 2016, I graduated with my bachelors in Art and Design. After graduating at East Stroudsburg University I was hired to work for Kistler Printing Company Inc., as a Graphic Designer. I experienced what it was like to work in a fast-paced environment with some complex machinery and the ability to physically manifest my work. While working at Kistler Printing, some of the larger clients I’ve worked with were Clorox Corporation, Run-Rite, and Ertle Subaru.

Towards the beginning of 2022 I moved to the Lehigh Valley and left my position at Kistler printing for a more convenient opportunity. In November of 2020 I was hired as a Print and Marketing Associate for Staples Office Supply Superstore. In less than 5 months, due to my experience in the field, I have risen to the position of Print & Marketing Manager. As the manager of my department, my key responsibilities are to train my associates, over see operations, bring in new clientele by using promotion incentives, and to follow up with current rewards members to drive sales.

Since 2012 I have developed various skills using the Adobe software including Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Lightroom. Having used photoshop, I not only edited my photography in my high school Yearbook but also in preparations for publishing in the ESU Stroud Courier Newspaper. While working at Kistler Printing I have learned to operate industrial and commercial printers such as the Canon W8400, Canon imagePRESS C850, Ikon 650, Ricoh and Konica Minolta. I also have experience using HTML, CSS, and Sublime text to create websites. Besides computer language, my first official language was Portuguese and I can speak it fluently. These are just some of the skills I have acquired.

In 2015, I received my first design internship at ideal Design. I would have a one- on one conversation with clients and create graphics for clients based on what they needed. The internship at ideal Design opened doors to my second internship; where I worked at New Mind Design as the Co-Art Director. As the Co- director it was not only my responsibility to oversee operations but I also created a design brief for clients, maintained the company website and created graphics based on what was needed. I have about 7 years of experience in the design field outside of school and 5 years of experience while attending ESU. In total I have 13 years of experience in the design field.
